Mini Gypsy Cob
     IGEA recognizes the Mini Gypsy Cob to always, and only be of recognized Purebred Foundation Gypsy Cob Genetics, selectively bred down in size. Mini Gypsy Cobs are also known as Purebred Gypsy Ponies.
​     The FDTN prefix: Foundation, is a term to describe and designate only Gypsy Cobs considered FDTN direct Heritage Gypsy Equine genetics imported from, or living in their homeland of origination with full credits being Ireland, British Isles, England, United Kingdom, including imported in utero, approved imported embryo, approved imported artificial means, and the offspring resulting from FDTN x FDTN Parents. For an equine to be FDTN (Foundation), FDTN always and only applies respectfully, to the Gypsy equine genetics originating from their homeland as clearly stated. FDTN x FDTN Heritage Stock only produces FDTN Heritage Stock, no matter where it is bred and foaled, or imported to, or from.

​​     The ​IGEA Herdbooks include and recognize the FDTN Mini Gypsy Cobs 13 Hands and under in their own Stud Book within the Herd Books. 

​​      IGEA registered Mini Gypsy Cobs recognized as Purebred Foundation, have the FDTN prefix in front of their name on their Registration Certificate. Their Registration Certificates are printed on Blue Certificate paper, with the IGEA Gold Custom seal, include details of their Ancestry, their Gypsy Genetics listed, and are recognized as 100%  Purebred.
